After a fierce August battle on the riverfront the cooler September temperatures are slowing goathead growth rates. While there are not many new plants sprouting, they are still flowering and form seeds quickly. Warriors need to continue sector sweeps to maintain a goathead free zone!
Matt Morrison from State Parks hit RRT heavy infestation patches with an herbicide yesterday. Aaron and Nick from Eastmont Parks did scouted and eliminated plants on the East Side Loop Trail. The battle is on! Doug Pauly
